My goal is to provide a safe, confidential space for individuals to talk about concerns and challenges common in every day life. Therapy can help people better understand themselves, their emotions, and their relationships, as well as develop coping skills for managing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. Therapy can also improve communication, decision-making skills, enhance self-esteem, improve self-confidence, and foster personal growth. Therapy can help to overcome obstacles and work towards a happier and more fulfilling life.
Working together to overcome obstacles, helping to develop healthy effective coping strategies by listening and understanding what works for each individual is important in each of my sessions. My focus is to help each person I see decrease symptoms and improve their quality of life.
Through counseling, I strive to assist clients to improve their well being, gain a better understanding of themselves, and their relationships. My preferred modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Person Centered Therapy.
