Client's that seek out my services typically need assistance coping with increased levels of anxiety, depression, and/or have a trauma history. I also work with clients with history of self-injury. Client's that seek out treatment from me typically need or want a therapist who will meet them where they are at in their lives and collaborate with them in developing the skills to adapt and function in their daily lives. They want to build the skills needed so that they can continue to function post therapeutic services without needing the same level of care.
I tend to pull from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy which is more skill based, I also use EMDR, and CBT. I will at times use other therapeutic approaches however that is only after discussing what approach you feel best meets your needs. I also offer Psychological Assessments for adolescents and adults.
