Many aspects of life can be difficult, recurring and even intolerable. Hope or hoplessness may have led you to seek therapy, in pursuit of changes that continue to mystify you. I work with individuals, couples & families seeking to reclaim a sense of integrity, safety and connection in their lives. I offer support in moving through trauma, grief, relationship challenges, anxiety, loneliness, obsessions, fears, self esteem, conflict and life transitions. I don't see these as moral issues, but a part of the human condition.
As an attachment and trauma-informed therapist, I am interested in how relationships affect change and draw from relational models of treatment. My style is engaging, direct and nurturing. I assess and keep in mind what approaches may be the most helpful for your given temperament, history, presenting issues, values, attachment style and treatment goals.
