I specialize in early childhood mental health and social emotional development with children ages 0-10 and the adults who love them. My clients are typically children struggling with anxiety, school-related issues, working through complex trauma, or demonstrating behavioral concerns. I offer a perspective of lived-experience for neurodiverse and military families.
I provide in-person and digital child-centered play therapy intervention. When appropriate, I incorporate the use of popular video games (ages 7+) to meet children where they are at: on the digital playground. In addition to individual services, I offer therapeutically applied tabletop roleplaying groups for multiple ages.
I am a Supervisee of Social Work in Virginia and in the process of completing the requirements for the Registered Play Therapist credential. Additionally, I have 9 years' mental health experience in psychiatric and medical hospitals, schools, and community-based settings including Head Start and Early Head Start classroom and home-based services.
