I am a licensed professional counselor with certifications in trauma and anxiety. I take a holistic approach to mental health and work with clients to discover what they need in order to feel better about themselves and lead a more fulfilling life. My role as a therapist is to guide you on your mental health journey and teach you strategies and techniques that you can utilize in your daily life and beyond therapy.
I have experience providing therapy to diverse populations including children and teens. I have helped clients build skills to cope with trauma and abuse, stress and anxiety, depression, family issues, gender identity, and self-esteem through the use of research based theories such as CBT and SFBT along with mindfulness and trauma-informed techniques.
I approach the therapeutic relationship without judgment, with respect, and as a collaboration between the client and I. Every one deserves access to mental health care and my professional goal is to be an advocate for all communities, especially those that are often underrepresented or marginalized.
