I am a marriage and family therapist specializing in early intervention with infants, children, teens and families. My passion is to increase connection between children and their caregivers through attachment based interventions, play therapy and sand tray. I appreciate helping improve difficult behaviors and create more understanding and communication between parents and their children. I feel honored to assist clients decrease emotions of depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive symptoms and low self esteem and help individuals live their best lives with healthy connections to support them.
As a mother myself I get that parenting can be hard. Understanding how to best approach a specific issue or situation can be difficult and create tension between members of the family. I strive to create a safe space where concrete goals are developed in order to decrease unwanted behaviors and cultivate a more satisfying connection between family members.
I also get being a kid can be very confusing and frustrating to navigate. It is a privilege to get to sit with your child, help understand their concerns that have them stuck and to help them navigate a healthy way forward including encouraging more communication with their parents.
