As someone who used to be a nurse, I have a special interest in other healthcare professionals and burnout/moral injury, vicarious trauma, and COVID-19 related stressors. I also work with clients who have experienced any kind of trauma in their lives, anxiety, depression, substance use, or disordered eating. I believe in a collaborative, integrative, and holistic approach to support and encourage recovery goals. I strive to help others overcome obstacles through mental health education, psychotherapy, community advocacy, and self-empowerment.
I completed my master's degree at Northwestern University with academic distinction. I believe in the power of talk therapy, brainspotting, somatic interventions to engage other brain and body processes, as well as advocacy and prevention work on community, state, and national levels. I have advanced training in perinatal mental health and NICU parenting.
My intention is to provide a safe space that is free of judgement to cultivate a strong therapeutic alliance that will allow for corrective emotional experiences within the therapy office.
