I specialize in working with teens and young adults, having over 10 years experience in a clinical and case management setting. I was born and raised, along with two other siblings, by a single mother in Los Angeles. Through the adversity I struggled a lot in my younger years and now carrying with me multiple lifetimes of experience because of it. Thankfully I was able to take my experience and turn in into my passion/life's work by now guiding teens and young adults to a balanced and beautiful life.
This is a space for you to show me the cards you've been dealt and we can collaboratively work together to figure out the best way to play them. I am a strong believer in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as I believe if you can change the way you think you can change your life.
Not every therapist is a fit but I always say, "If you go to an Italian restaurant and don't like the food.. you do not swear off Italian food altogether - you find another restaurant. This is the same with therapy". If you've tried therapy before but it did not feel like a fit, it does not mean it will always be unfitting.
