Hello, I am a licensed clinical psychologist who provides individual and group therapy to adolescents and adults. I also work with athletes to improve performance skills by helping with their "mental game". Life is filled with challenges. I help clients understand how they can approach their challenges with new insight, skills, and hope which can lead to profound change. I use various psychotherapy approaches that include psychodynamic insight-oriented therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based techniques (MCBT).
I approach each client with a keen interest in learning who they are and what their goals are for the therapy. I listen closely and collaborate with them so that they feel understood, supported, and are able to develop the tools to help navigate life's challenges, achieve their goals, and have a better quality of life.
