I tend to work mostly with adolescents (ages 12-22), though please feel free to reach out as I work with all ages! My clients tend to be working through issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity development. I am intensively trained in DBT and often bring those skills into session, though it is not required, and we can certainly discuss what approach feel best. I find myself wanting to help create "a life worth living" for the client, identifying values, and aligning behaviors in accordance.
I am particularly interested in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and would most likely bring in those skills if or as needed. However, DBT is not a requirement for working with me. We can also work via standard "talk therapy", providing feedback, support, safety planning, and problem solving to help reach goals.
