I work from a trauma informed systemic perspective, creating a calm, safe, supportive environment to allow for growth and change. I have over 25 years of experience, and I am passionate about my work. I enjoy working with people of all genders, LGBTQIA, cultural backgrounds, races, and spiritual practices/traditions. I also offer neurodivergent affirming care. I work with adults to identify healthy strategies to address symptoms of depression, anxiety, or other mood disorders. I always strive to provide an accepting, non-judgmental space to work through trauma, life transitions, relationships, and other life challenges.
My approach is eclectic and intuitive, incorporating CBT, DBT, and mindfulness strategies. I support clients in becoming curious about their feelings, interrupting and shifting patterns that are no longer serving them. I will assist you with fostering compassionate self-awareness as you build new skills and move past self defeating thoughts and actions.
I work primarily with adults. Some clients choose to address clearly identifiable short-term goals during the therapeutic process, and others prefer to engage in the self-exploration and growth that comes with more in-depth work. I look forward to sharing your unique journey with you.
