Hi! My name is Jennifer Lopez and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California. I have fifteen (15) years of clinical counseling experience and several years of Christian counseling experience as well. Working with diverse clients over the years has given me opportunities to learn about people and their unique individuality. Respect and learning about your culture and how it affects your worldview and experience without judgment or assumption is important in deepening my understanding of where you are coming from.
My approach to therapy is eclectic using various techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, solutions focused therapy, person-centered therapy and psychoeducation. I strive to provide a warm and supportive environment allowing clients to work toward their goals and process at their pace.
