I have experience working as a sexual assault counselor and outpatient intake/assessment specialist in a community mental health setting. I have helped clients with a variety of issues over the years including: depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, stress management, life transitions, relationship distress, anger management, and self-injury. I am offering telehealth and in-person services, depending on your preferences or needs.
My theoretical approach utilizes CBT and DBT concepts to help clients manage symptoms and overcome obstacles to recovery. I assist clients to gain self-awareness and insight into how to manage daily stressors. I firmly believe that with an open mindset, people can change their negative thinking patterns and live a happier, healthier life.
