I have over 25 years of professional experience, and specialize in advanced, brain-based modalities to deeply shift negative reactions to past traumas, or other life stressors. These methods go beyond traditional talk therapy, targeting non-reasoning parts of the brain that mediate our fight/flight/freeze responses, as key mechanisms of transformative change. Powerful techniques include, but are not limited to: Brainspotting, evolved from EMDR, and Emotional Freedom Technique, a cognitive-somatic technique endorsed by the APA.
We may also integrate techniques from Rapid Resolution Therapy, supported by brain science of memory re-consolidation, and from IFS, engaging our own self-leadership in healing protective parts of self. At my discretion, I may use any method alone or combined, in way that is collaborative, precise, and playful, with moment to moment relational attunement.
I have a particular affinity for actors, athletes, therapists, entrepreneurs, first responders, and mindful individuals who wish to flow into more creative and thriving lives. Adults are treated individually for issues including, but not limited to: PTSD, grief/loss, fears/phobias/anxiety, ‘motivational’ concerns/‘performance’ blocks.
