Life is very challenging and sometimes it feels like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. Perhaps you are stressed, feeling down, or dealing with unforeseen circumstances. I am here to help guide you to self-discovery and find the answers or solutions with support. My counseling style is laid back and eclectic. I have counseled adults and teens in the areas of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family issues. I have experience providing individual, group, family and couples therapy in the areas of victimization, trauma, coping skills, forgiveness, self-esteem, conflict resolution, and family reunification.
I provide an environment for expression of thoughts and emotions, discuss behavior patterns, and problem solve while using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Person-Centered Therapy. I work with clients who deal with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem/self-confidence, and grief.
My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I consider myself to be warm, approachable, supportive, caring, empathetic, and compassionate.
