My practice focuses on teenagers and young adults who struggle with anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, panic and OCD. Our initial meeting will include a phone consultation where I will work to understand what is bringing you to therapy at this time. I am currently seeing clients both in-person and virtually. My office is conveniently located in downtown Bloomington within walking distance of Indiana University.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I am strengths-based in my approach and view each of my clients as the experts of their unique experience. My approach utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
Many mental health issues arise for the first time during a person’s teens and early 20’s. It can be a time filled with rapid change and emotional growth. I provide tailored support for my clients, focusing on accurate diagnosis and effective treatment for this transitional time period.
