I will dedicate myself to helping you find your strengths, learn and heal. I have many years experience in the mental health field helping people meet their goals, achieve more healthy relationships , reduce stress, improve mood and grow their self-esteem. I believe people thrive in a caring and nonjudgmental environment. Working in a variety of settings I have always used a supportive and collaborative style, recognizing that each person is unique and deserves an individualized treatment plan.
I use a broad range of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy , Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. I help teach and develop mindfulness skills to aid in symptom management. Although I have worked with and appreciate all age groups, I have extensive experience with children, adolescents/young adults and families.
Previous work environments include a residential treatment center, an extended day program, an outpatient clinic and an inpatient hospital unit. I have successfully treated both individuals and groups in each respective environment. I am currently providing individual therapy for people in all life stages and look forward to meeting you soon.
