My name is Jennifer DeVore and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Kentucky providing tele-therapy. I primarily work with women and specialize in neurodivergent populations using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, strengths-based and narrative therapy. Using a framework that honors neurodiversity, my approach will always vary by client according to needs and goals. We begin by talking about self-care and what that means to you so you can feel better right away. Then we look at barriers that are keeping you from feeling good.
This includes analyzing how you speak to yourself so we can identify the voice of your “inner critic.” We also find out if there are things in your environment holding you back. As a neurodivergent-affirming therapist, I work primarily with women who identify as being neurodivergent.
For me, the path to becoming a therapist started with a deep desire to understand myself. As a neurodivergent woman, my healing journey has been hard earned. Being a therapist is about paying my experience forward so that your path is perhaps a bit easier. I get great joy from helping my clients reach their goals.
