As a caring and compassionate therapist I am committed to helping you explore the issues that may be holding you back and helping you uncover the innate potential within you to thrive and heal. I have a great deal of experience helping clients manage and overcome depression, anxiety, trauma histories, low self-esteem, and dysfunctional relationship patterns. I bring a wide variety of both professional and personal experience to my clinical work and believe in the strength and resilience of the human spirit.
Through careful assessment, a strengths-based approach and an empathetic, non-judgmental style, I will help you uncover the obstacles and patterns that may be impacting you, and explore new ways of seeing yourself and your life so that you may achieve greater joy, fulfillment, happiness and peace.
After obtaining a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University in 2005 I have been very fortunate to work around the country in various clinical settings including Yale University Department of Psychiatry. I also served as Program Coordinator of an outpatient program in NY and have maintained a private practice since 2013.
