My name is Jennifer Butler, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based out of Southern California, working with clients statewide via Telehealth. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults from diverse backgrounds and identifying cultures and specialize in the treatment of trauma, stress, anxiety, grief, and depression using Person (Client) Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Because each individual is unique, my approach is catered to each individual client based on their needs.
I have extensive experience working with teens, young adults, adults, and older adults, particularly with those who are dealing with grief, trauma, and or the challenges and transitions of life. I am familiar with and very comfortable with working with clients from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
I am very client focused and work together with my client to determine what the client's goals may be in therapy. The client and I will typically work together in prioritizing and identifying areas the client would like to work on, and together we set reasonable, realistic, and achievable goals.
