A person's wellbeing can change over time depending on their circumstances. When the demands of life start to exceed our resources and coping, it can take a toll on our mental and physical health. Feelings of anxiety, stress, sadness and depression can begin to cloud our daily experiences and decrease the sense of fulfillment and joy. I utilize techniques to help alleviate these negative sensations and thoughts, keeping you grounded in the present, enhancing your inherent abilities to heal and work on plans for a more hopeful future. I work with adults. I offer a BIPOC & LBGTQ + Safe Place.
My therapeutic approach is strength based, building on self care and mindfulness. My focus is treatment for the whole person; integrating practices in CBT, EMDR, mindfulness and strengthening your innate resilience.
I offer a brief phone consultation to ensure we are a match to meet your current life and mental health needs. Due to COVID 19 restrictions I am currently prioritizing telehealth appointments, however some in person sessions are available based on need and availability.
