I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Auburn University in 2008. I have worked in the psychological field for the past 25 years. I offer individual psychological therapy for adolescents, college students, and adults. I also provide family and couples therapy. My aim is to help you identify and reach your own goals through insight, practical changes in thoughts and behaviors, and believing that a healthy emotional, physical and mental life is possible.
I provide research based therapeutic interventions. The treatment approach is dependent on the presenting problem; however, I typically work from a cognitive behavioral/interpersonal modality. I believe that our perspective, the way we view ourselves and the world, influences how we interact with our own thoughts as well as how we engage with others.
I provide psychological evaluations including intelligence, achievement, personality testing, and ADHD/LD. Issues such as depression, anxiety, parenting, life stressors and interpersonal relationships are commonly addressed.
