My philosophy of therapy is that each person has a unique life path. While much of the time we can navigate confidently on our own, sometimes we encounter situations that make life difficult. Therapists are change agents. My role as your therapist is to work with you to explore your life and set goals you want to achieve. Over our sessions, we will work together to explore areas and sort through your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. The counseling process is not without risks; however, the good news is that the benefits can include a greater overall sense of happiness, fulfillment, and satisfaction.
I help individuals better understand their own internal processes to address relational issues and life's challenges. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, sexual assault/trauma, gender identity, spirituality and childhood trauma. I utilize a variety of modalities to personalize the therapy experience to each person's specific needs.
