Does the concept of therapy scare you? I get it. Therapy is challenging, therapy can be scary, therapy can feel vulnerable...but therapy can also be healing, cathartic, freeing, and well...beautiful. My goal as a therapist is to provide my clients with a safe, comforting, and nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself as this is where the work can truly be done. During our sessions, I listen to your story, which helps me get to know you as a person rather than just a "patient". I also help my clients reflect on patterns that no longer serve them while drawing from their strengths and resiliency to make everlasting changes.
I have worked as a therapist since 2015 and have worked with a variety of adult issues, but I do have a passion in working with trauma and PTSD. However, I do not subscribe to the idea of pathologizing my clients or relying on diagnoses to steer our sessions as I believe over-diagnosing and pathologizing can lead to more harm than good.
