Through working both in public and private school settings, my focus has consistently been geared towards conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments, providing recommendations, and assisting in designing individualized interventions with children, adolescents, and young adults. The comprehensive evaluation process involves assessment of cognitive, academic, processing, and socio-emotional functioning to assist in educational planning for individuals presenting with concerns, such as learning disabilities, intellectual deficiencies, giftedness, attention deficit disorder, and autistic spectrum disorder.
Among the most crucial aspects of a child’s education is the identification of areas of strength and weakness and addressing areas of concern. My range of experience extends to such specialties as academic, learning, and behavioral interventions and psycho-educational evaluations geared towards supporting students.
Through diagnostic evaluation, specific areas that may be impeding a child’s ability to fully achieve to his/her potential can be identified and aid in designing interventions geared to target specific areas.
