Hi! I'm Jenna Barrett, LCSW. My focus is working with adults ages 18 to 30, however I also see individuals of all ages. I provide trauma informed care & have a special interest in supporting first generation and LGBTQI+ individuals. My specialty is working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression. This may be historical and/or triggered by grief, a break-up, work/school stress, trauma, or a major transition.
I have an eclectic style and utilize elements of CBT, DBT, Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness. Please note, I do not provide exclusive DBT therapy.
My therapeutic style is validating, encouraging, & reflective. I also believe it is important to have laughter and fun during therapy. I use an intersectional lens & create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can openly share your experiences. My favorite part of being a therapist is the trust & strong connection I have with my clients.
