As a therapist I am warm, compassionate, strength-based, authentic, and open-minded. I will work together with you to make sure that you feel supported in your journey towards healing and growth. I am highly collaborative, authentic, and transparent. I utilize a number of tools and theoretical approaches in my work with my clients. I draw from a diversity of practices including family systems theory, collaborative problem-solving, cognitive behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness practices, play therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed approaches.
I strive for inclusiveness, openness, warmth, playfulness, and optimism in my sessions. I work with all ages and all constellations of people. I love working with children and families as well as individuals and couples! I also work with a therapy dog named Bruno, a 16 pound Cavalier Spaniel who provides comfort and emotional support to my clients.
