I take a humanistic and nervous system-based approach to the therapeutic process, and believe that each client is inclined towards healing and growth. It is my job to act as a guide, helping clients clear the path toward uncovering their innate ability to heal and grow. Being human is not without its challenges and sometimes traumas. I believe improving connection with others, identifying unhelpful patterns, and addressing wounds is a critical step in thriving after these experiences.
I have over 250 hours of specialized training in experiential modalities, including psychodrama, brainspotting phase I, Somatic Experiencing Beginning Level I, and sandtray therapies, among others. In other words, it’s all just a fancy way of saying that I believe in engaging the brain in creative or hands-on activities in addition to talking.
I take a trauma-informed, nervous system-based, collaborative approach which is informed by my extensive background in music, live touring industry, and the performing arts. I love working with all types of individuals from a variety of backgrounds, and look forward to connecting with you!
