This has stuck with me through my years of practice and shaped the way I think about therapy. I graduated with my Master's in Psychology in 2015 and have been practicing therapy since, mainly in an individual setting; however, have run some groups along the way. I have seen how powerful group therapy can be and would love to help in this unique way!
I offer in-person group therapy in areas of parent support. I specialize in working with teens/young adults with depression and anxiety and so often the parents feel at a loss and have no where to go. This is why I created an option for parents of teens dealing with these issues.
Along with being a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am a mother of 3 beautiful children, one of whom is a teenager who deals with anxiety and depression. It has been a long road and I felt completely lost despite my years of training in those areas. Parenting is hard and a never-ending learning process.

This group is for parents of those teen who are struggling with anxiety and/or depression. It is a place to connect with other parents, provide and receive support, enhance knowledge of these diagnoses, and increase skills in dealing with these symptoms as a parent from other parents regarding what works and what has not.
