I had the privilege of working in several settings that provided a wealth of knowledge and experience (i.e, rape crisis center, intensive outpatient clinic, behavioral health insurance). I enjoy helping others face their hardships and relationships to find joy on the other side of their dark moments. My ideal client is anyone above the age of 12 years old (individuals, couples and families) that is ready to work through their current struggle to find their sense of fulfillment and happiness.
My current specialties consist of: working with adolescents and women on self -esteem issues; anxiety; depression; grief and transitions in life. I also enjoy working with couples and families to find their balance in communication and partnership.
Being a graduate from Dallas Baptist, I do enjoy being able to integrate my Christian faith into my counseling. I do not integrate faith until the patient brings it to the forefront.
