I am a licensed psychologist who utilizes mindfulness-based therapies in my approach to treatment. I have worked with many patients experiencing varied mental health concerns, including anxiety, OCD, depression, grief, eating disorders, sleep disorders and acute stress. Together, we will work to identify what you value in life and explore ways for you to engage in a way that is aligned with your valued outcome. Typically, what lands people in my office is a gap between how they are living their lives and how they want to be living their lives. Our work together would focus on closing this gap.
My goal is to walk with you along your path of creating a meaningful life. Many lose sight of what is important, particularly in the midst of stressors related to career-building, relationships and parenting. I especially enjoy working with high-functioning professionals struggling to manage the many competing commitments that accompany busy lives.
Often, as people lose touch from what they value in life, they use ineffective coping strategies to compensate, such as substance use, overeating or working too much. Utilizing a combination of practical solutions and mindfulness-based strategies we will strive to create or restore balance that leads to a life of meaning and joy. Please feel free to call.
