We all experience intense emotions, and it has always been by goal to help clients find the essential tools to decrease suffering and build a quality-of-life worth living. I am a clinical social worker in MO and KS with nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field. My professional experience and training have primary focused on treating children starting at age 12, adolescents, families and adults who struggle with mood and anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, personality disorders, and interpersonal conflict.
I specialize in Dialectical Behavioral therapy and have found the DBT skills helpful in coping with intense emotions, building a stronger self, and strengthening relationships with others. I also have found EMDR and IFS to be complimentary treatment modalities to help clients heal from trauma.
