I'm Jelka Jonker, a licensed family and marriage therapist with over 20 years of experience. My approach is caring, open-minded, and interactive. I have had the privilege of working with a diverse population, providing mental health counseling, relational and marital counseling, life coaching, and sharing Enneagram wisdom when appropriate. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered on your journey toward well-being.
When it comes to setting goals, I believe in a collaborative approach. We'll work together to identify the goals that are most important to you and determine the skills and tools you'll need to achieve them. My aim is to work with you to discover strategies, solutions, and insights to help you practice new ways to thrive and become your best self.
Our first session will involve an assessment to determine how I can best support you in achieving your therapy goals. Following the assessment, we will identify specific goals to work on and outline concrete steps to help alleviate your symptoms. I look forward to collaborating with you on this process.
