As a seasoned therapist, I have helped clients suffering from a variety of issues: anxiety, depression, grief, overwhelming stress and emotions, relationship problems, substance abuse & addiction, Trauma etc. I use a comprehensive approach, blending different psychotherapy techniques with eastern wisdom and western philosophy, to facilitate a client's awareness of self and empowerment towards change. My clients gain the coping skills to conquer their issues and live happier, more meaningful lives. Prior to my private practice, I worked Inpatient Psychiatry at the University of Maryland Medical Center for five years.
I believe each person has the capacity to overcome obstacles and realize their full potential. It is my commitment to help clients improve mood, decrease anxiety, strengthen relationships, enhance decision making abilities, identify underlying issues regarding mental health/addiction, and help develop new coping strategies.
Due to privacy issues and the limiting nature of Insurance Companies, I accept insurances on an out-of-network basis and will provide a detailed invoice for clients to submit for reimbursement.
