Deciding to start therapy can be intimidating, but it also shows courage. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I understand the difficulty of wanting to change aspects of your life, but not knowing how. If you are suffering from anxiety, depression, difficulties in a relationship, or aren't quite sure what the problem is, l will help you learn skills that will help you become happier and more comfortable. In session, I am supportive and empathic, but provide honest feedback and conduct check-ins to ensure that our work is on track. I also use humor to promote rapport, reduce anxiety, and help reframe perspectives.
I have worked extensively with teens, college and graduate students, young professionals, adults, and families by listening and helping them determine their goals. I help my clients understand their difficulties and collaborate with them to develop a practical approach that appeals to their strengths. I am licensed in NY, CT, and 36 states across the US.
