Taking on new clients. I enjoy working with people that are motivated to start improving how they view themselves. To me, the relationship between the counselor and client is the most impacting to help people make authentic changes.
I primarily apply EMDR methods to assist in client barriers. I really like helping people challenge and learn to change negative beliefs they have about themselves such as "I am not good enough," "I am unlovable," "I am bad," "I don't deserve happiness," "I am stupid," "I am not safe, "I am weak," "I cannot trust myself," just to name a few.
Ultimately, your goal of therapy becomes my goal for your therapy. I will tailor my approach to fit anyone and any problem. I also hope to provide you with a safe, supportive environment where you can talk openly without fear of judgment or thinking you are crazy.
