Hello and Bienvenidos! I'm Jeannine Huitzil! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Lic 89017 in the state of California, I am here to empower you so that you reach a place of healing. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and I am a bilingual Spanish-speaking psychotherapist. I have over 10 years of experience working with adults and children. I have worked with many diverse identities and populations, especially Spanish-speaking individuals. I have worked with young adults who are first Gen in higher education and struggling with anxiety and depression.
During therapy sessions, my focus is to integrate acceptance, empathetic, strength-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed strategies. I integrate a variety of techniques, trauma-focused CBT, including mindfulness practices. I used evidence-based interventions to meet your needs.
I strive to create a safe and welcoming space to support clients reach their treatment goals. I explore with curiosity and normalize discussions of mental health. I plan to establish a culturally sensitive environment and a trusting relationship.
