Hello! I am Jeanne Morrow and I am a clinical social worker. I genuinely enjoy people and learning about their life challenges and successes. I work with people from a strengths perspective (we all have them) and how we can capitalize on our strengths to overcome obstacles. I have worked with all age groups, but prefer adults. I typically prefer brief, solution-focused sessions where the client is given tools to use immediately. I see you as the author of your story and I am just the proofreader to see if we can work any plot lines that you are not happy with. We work as a team to reframe issues and find solutions.
I try to create a very relaxed, light environment where my clients can feel comfortable and share their thoughts and concerns. I would like my clients to feel like they are valued and have taken something new from each session.
I began my career as a Registered Nurse for 15 years before getting my Master's in Social Work. I realized I was very drawn to behavioral health as a nurse. I would usually spend time talking with my patients in the hospital and would discover that they had many personal issues that were impacting their physical health.
