“A healthy outside starts from the inside”-Robert Urich I view therapy as a collaborative process among individuals, couples, or families to enhance their strengths and overcome their limitations. My approach to counseling is to provide a safe, warm, and positive space to allow my clients to live healthy, happy, and productive lives. I utilize individual, person centered, mindfulness and cognitive therapy to achieve the goals we establish together. I counsel a diverse group of adolescents, teens, and adults.
I believe in the synergy of the mind, body health connection. For abled body clients, I believe in the value of walk and talk therapy. Walking increases circulation, boosting blood flow to the brain, and thereby enhances cognitive performance, which can support the processes of confronting and overcoming difficult issues.
