I support individuals, couples, and families under stress. Together, we uncover contexts and patterns of thoughts and behaviors that are causing challenges. Often, you as the client may already know the answers but could use support in living those answers out. The end goal is growth; the client should be able to look back at our work together and see a difference.
I apply practices from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients see change from the outside in. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and hypnotherapy - these modalities are especially helpful when clients feel stuck.
