As a therapist I have been practicing therapy for over ten years and enjoy working with a variety of clients, including teens and couples. I have had success in working with women and men who have had past trauma and/or transitional issues. I utilize forms of long and short term therapy for adults and play therapy with children helping them to find their voice. As part of my practice I teach parenting skills helping parents find ways to interact, communicate and discipline their children at different stages in their lives in a loving and consistent manner.
I work with clients helping them find ways to discover their path toward a more successful and positive future. I assist in defining their treatment goals some of which involve an increased sense of well-being, relationship building, improving communication levels, changing behavior patterns; helping them find their "aha moment".
Life Coaching; creates a bridge from where you are to where you want to be. Coaching is a goal-oriented process, working on identifying personal development issues which connect the client to goals. A plan is developed moving the client forward and realizing their vision. Involves homework assignments tailored goals.
