When you're ready, seeking a good therapist should be straightforward. I work hard to be available, efficient and responsive to your concerns. When you contact me your care begins with a review of your situation and needs. My style is both supportive and collaborative and I take care to ensure that your treatment is individualized. I use only evidence based approaches with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My training and professional experience allow me to address a broad range of issues that include: depression, anxiety, addiction, chronic medical issues, relationship/work conflict, and major life transitions.

Psychotherapy is never a "one size fits all" so, I tailor the treatment to the unique needs of each client. I am fluent in the models effective in reducing stress, anxiety and depression and addiction. A partial list includes: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Motivational Interviewing.
Can we talk? I offer a 15 mInute introductory session at no cost in order for you to assess my skills. Additionally, I hold a clinical position at Emerson Hospital and I'm an Instructor at Salem State University where I currently teach courses on Substance Abuse. I've taught both Advanced Clinical Practice and Assessment & Diagnosis at Simmons University.
