I believe the relationship between client and therapist is critical in understanding why certain things might cause you pain and to help facilitate growth and change that you want and need. Using a trauma-informed approach, I focus on the uncovering and expression of emotions and the integration of new insights into how you understand yourself in order to move forward in your journey of self-awareness. I feel that you are the expert of your own experience, and, therefore, collaboration between you and I in therapy is important to help you feel safe, empowered, and secure, in order to best work together to maximize your wellness.
I obtained my Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Widener University’s Institute of Graduate Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in psychodynamic theory and practice. I have had clinical experience working within both inpatient and outpatient settings and value working with a variety of mental health questions.
