I am a queer, nonbinary person of color who provides therapy services in the Triangle. My goal is to provide affirming care that centers your unique experiences, challenges, and resiliency. I believe that each person is the expert of their own experience; my work is to provide support and tools to aid your healing process while building our genuine trust and connection. As an advocate for social justice, I am grounded in the understanding that institutional and social forces influence mental health. My approach welcomes clients to explore these in session along with everyday issues.
I am passionate about working with queer and trans adults and kids (age 13+) and anyone navigating identity, burnout, body image and eating, relationship uncertainty, the school/work system, depression, anxiety, and substance use. My approach combines dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and motivational interviewing.
Therapy does not have to be a mystery - I'll gladly break down these concepts for you as we begin our work. Together, we can create a plan for you to meet your goals, strengthen supports, and build your self-reliance, all while being gentle with yourself in the process. Every part of you is welcome here.
