I believe all of us have an inbuilt propensity for healing and personal growth. As a psychotherapist, I consider my main task as helping you in removing barriers in order for you to reach your fullest potential. I strive not only to aid in allieviating symptoms and emotional pain, but to join in on a journey with you for long-standing individual change. My approach to therapy is eclectic and incorporates cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, existential, relational, and solution-focused elements. Primarily, my goal is to develop warm, trusting, and honest relationships with clients in order to facilitate positive change.
I have experience working primarily with adults and teenagers in dealing with an array of issues including depression, anxiety, loss/grief, phase of life transitions, relationship difficulties, and co-occurring emotional and alcohol/substance use issues.
