I believe that we are all meant to be healed, restored, and whole in spirit, mind, and body. Many of life's hurts and challenges come through relationships and so does our healing. Therapy is a safe space to express emotions, receive guidance in making informed and healthy decisions, and move toward desired goals. I specialize in working with couples struggling with their relationship, communication, infidelity, sexual intimacy concerns, and overall connection. I also have a passion for working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relational conflict, self-esteem/identity challenges, trauma & major life changes.
As an African-American therapist, I understand the significance in providing validation and understanding to clients of color and their experience as minorities in society. Additionally, my Christian faith is at the foundation of all I do, so I also offer clients an opportunity, if they choose, to bring their spirituality into the therapy space.
I enjoy sharing knowledge and promoting mental health awareness in my community through speaking events, panels, workshops, and podcasts. I am eager to assist clients in overcoming the stigma of therapy and to help restore any mistrust in the mental health field. There is hope!
