I am so glad you are here and advocating for your mental health! This first step is SO important! My main goal is to create a space where you can feel safe to express yourself without judgment and maintain an environment in which you can continue to grow and make changes in your life. I strive to be an accepting and understanding counselor while also challenging my clients to be the best version of themselves they can be. I will meet you where you are at! Counseling can feel scary, but I will work with you to make this feel enjoyable and comfortable!
I utilize skills that draw upon CBT, DBT, Person-Centered, and TF-CBT. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and strive to continue educating myself to be a better counselor. My specialty areas include trauma, adolescence and the LGBTQ+ population, specifically members of the transgender community. I generally work with clients ages 7 and above.
