As a experienced bicultural Asian therapist from an immigrant family, I am passionate to help clients and provide culturally sensitive care that considers the unique experiences and challenges that clients have while highlighting strengths and talents. I also worked as an school teacher for over ten years because I loved working with students. Now I am happy as a mental health therapist to further facilitate healing and growth for both adults' and children's mental health and see them improve in their work, school and/or relationships. I use a strength-based approach and utilize different modalities such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also place a strong emphasis on incorporating neuroscience and somatic body regulation that increases the effectiveness of my therapeutic work with my clients.
