Welcome! We have all experienced challenges in our lives like no other time. Sometimes we come to a place along our path where we realize what we’ve been doing is no longer serving its purpose and we are ready to manifest a change for ourselves. This often takes courage to make this decision as well as seeking help for direction. I am happy to help you navigate through life challenges. Some of my specialty areas include: addiction and recovery, trauma (physical/emotional/mental/sexual), stress management, nutrition, adjusting to life issues, family (current and family of origin)
I have been a Registered Nurse, specializing in mental health and addictions since 1984. I have also been an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (18 and older) since 2010 and Board Certified with the American Holistic Nurses Association since 2003.
My patients appreciate a variety of approaches we can take to honor their choices for their goals. As we work through issues, we may explore concerns about the past to find the "threads," or issues that create obstacles in the present time and develop coping skills and tools for change.
