I have over 25 years of experience working with most age groups from very diverse backgrounds. I have extensive experience working with clients who are living with anxiety, depression, grief & loss, parenting challenges, complex trauma, and body dysmorphia. I utilize approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness. However most importantly, I listen carefully to my clients and adapt my approach as needed. I received my B.A. in psychology from Boston University and my MSW from Simmons University. Janice also completed 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Certification.
The cornerstone of my approach is developing mutual trust and the belief that change is possible for anyone. I respect every person’s perspective, listen carefully, and encourage collaboration.
